FAQ: Account Creation/Application
I signed up at 365 Hosting. How come I can not access cPanel?
Signing up on the community site and signing up for a hosting account are two separate applications. Just because you have a login to the community site does not mean you have a hosting account.
The cPanel login page is for members who have applied for a web hosting account and got approved. Not every application is approved due to various reasons.

I have applied for an account, but I got no response?
Not every application is approved. If your application was approved you will be notified with further instructions.
There could be numerous reasons or no reason that it was not approved. As stated, not every application is approved. We do not reply back to denied applicants as we do not have the time/manpower to do so. We get anywhere from 300 to 500 applications a day, we just can not keep up with sending denial replies. This is why you will receive a reply back if your application was approved. We will not respond to application status inquiries either...you will be notified if you were approved, period.

If my application is not approved what do you do with my information?
If you application was denied we permanently delete your details. We do not sell, trade or share your personal input unless required to by law. Please refer to our Privacy Policy and TOS.
Domain name or Subdomain on application?
If you have your own TLD like mysite.com or another domain name like mysite.co.cc or mysite.tk, we would encourage you to use that when filling out the application for your domain name. There would really be no point in using a subdomain of ours (.i3fx.com) when you have your own domain name.
We prefer the use of your own domain as it helps free up resources for us and lowers the chance of a possible suspension if the subdomain is not even being used. An example of this would be if you registered with a subdomain of ours but did not upload content for it but have also did an addon domain but it has files. When we check accounts, we go off of the domain on record. So if your subdomain does not load a site (but your addon domain does), we may not know this and suspend your site since your primary domain registered with us does not load.
It is just easier to register your domain name (if you have one) as the primary domain on record instead of a subdomain. Hope all that makes some sense!

Site Description on application?
Please fill this out briefly but with some details. If you put in "personal site" for the description, it will probably get deleted. Dont get us wrong, we allow personal sites...we want to know what it is about though. For instance, my personal site is about my programming for applications and web scripts.
Do not put in "please approve my site/account", instant delete. Dont beg, just describe your site! Please do not offer to "pay for hosting later after seeing how the service is", that will not guarantee approval nor make it faster for approval.
We do reserve the right to decide whether or not to accept any or all applications. 90% of the decision is based off of the description!

Email Address on application?
Please provide an email address that you check often and that it is correctly spelled! If we try to contact you with further instructions and that your application was approved and we get a returned mail...we have no way of contacting you.
We would also prefer that you use a free email like yahoo, gmail, hotmail, etc to apply with. If you have your own domain name and email, that is fine. However, when you change your DNS or if there is a server issue, mail will be undeliverable to you until DNS propagates or any server issues are resolved.
If you have some kind of email validator (software that requires an unknown email address to reply back to a message sent back to it), we will not respond back to it. We would rather deal with real people and not robot scripts.

What is the complete process so I know what to expect?
The first thing (obviously) is to submit an application for hosting. You do NOT need a site account here to do that. You only need a site account here to post on our community forums for help/support/questions.
After you submit your application for hosting, we receive it via email with all of the information you provided. We thoroughly look it over, sometimes several times. We do look for obvious "fake names", incomplete information, or fields with "dfga e4tawf" in it. We immediately deny and delete the app for stuff like that. We also may have a look at your domain name (if you have your own) to see if your site matches your description you provided. We have a number of steps/criteria we go through in determining on whether or not to accept it.
If it is not accepted, you will hear nothing back as we do not have the manpower and/or time to reply back to every applicant with a detailed reason. Although it can take up to 48 hours to review your application, if you have not heard back after 48 hours, there is a good chance it was denied for some reason or another.
However, if we approve your application, you will receive a confirmation email (to the one you applied with) stating that we have tentatively approved your request and that we need to hear back from you. This ensures that you are seriously wanting the services and that your email address is valid.
Once we hear back from you, we will then create your account and send you another email with your account login details. If we do not hear back from you within a week of the confirmation email we sent, we will then not consider your application and you would need to re-apply all over again.
Once your account is setup, you will have 1 week (7 days) to start uploading content. If you do not, your account will be suspended for up to 1 week and then terminated.
We have begun to enforce more account creation rules due to previous issues from other users. This may seem like quite a bit to do but this really saves us a lot of time and resources. If the protocol is followed, your site will be online and worry free from suspension (unless it starts breaking our TOS).
